THE Mariners are expecting a bumper gate for the eagerly awaited friendly game with local rivals and Championship side Hull City next Tuesday.

The Tigers, who have been splashing the cash in the transfer market this summer, will be bringing their first team squad to Cleethorpes including former England international Nick Barnby.

With around 400-500 Hull fans expected to make the short journey across the Humber Bridge, the Mariners are predicting a 3000-4000 gate for the visit of Phil Brown's side.

All stands will be open for this game, with tickets now on sale from the Blundell Park ticket office.

Prices are: £10, £5.

Grimsby Town Travelling Supporters Club are running coaches to three of Town's pre-season games.

Weds, 18th July Gainsborough Trinity (departs 5pm) Fare £10.00

Sat, 21st July Farsley Celtic (departs 12 noon) Fare £15.00

Tues, 31st July Grantham Town (departs 5pm) Fare £15.00
