CHARLTON midfielder Dean Sinclair could be set to return to Blundell Park soon for a further loan spell. Town boss Mike Newell is looking to sign the Londoner for a further month once he recovers from a hamstring injury, which caused him to miss the last week of his second month on loan with Town.

Sinclair could feature on either of Town's huge relegation games against Chester and Lincoln in the next week, but he won't be back in time for tonight's game at Chesterfield.

Newell told the Grimsby Telegraph: "We are monitoring Dean Sinclair this week, daily, and assessing whether he might be fit for the weekend, or if not Tuesday at Luton.

"If that's the case, we'd like to re-sign him on loan again. He's keen to come back and that's what we'll do if it's possible."

Fellow midfielder Stuart Elliott will not be coming back to Blundell Park after he returned to Doncaster earlier this week, which frees up a slot for Mike Newell to bring in another loan player if he wishes.
