Grimsby v Wrexham Team News

TOWN are expected to make few changes for the second home game this week after their win in the first against Kettering. The Mariners face Wrexham on Saturday with no new injuries, with full back Gary Silk and striker Damian Spencer once again the only absentees.

The managers made three tactical changes for the game against Kettering, and it paid off, although Town had to come from a goal down to grab all three points. The substitutes played their full part on Tuesday, with Michael Coulson coming on and scoring the winner, so he looks the most likely to come into the side.

Wrexham are one of four clubs on 20 points and are having their best season since being relegated to the Conference four years ago. The Dragons recently won six games in succession, but have wobbled recently, picking up just one point in the last three games.

Their former manager Dean Saunders has just left to take charge of Derby County, so this will be first game for striker Andy Morrell who has been chosen as caretaker boss.

Wrexham have two players suspended, right-back Curtis Obeng and striker Daniel Wright. Striker Mathias Pogba (hamstring), and veteran winger Glen Little are also doubts.
