Grimsby v Aldershot Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 24/04/2015

GRIMSBY go into their final game of the season with no pressure for once on the actual result. Town are guaranteed to finish third whatever happens, and their opponents Aldershot are safe from relegation.

The main priority is to put on a good performance and boost confidence going into the play-offs. Winger Christian Jolley (hamstring) will not be risked, but Paul Hurst is likely to make several more changes to freshen up his squad and keep everyone fit.

The main issues to resolve tomorrow is who Town's opponents will be. It's likely to be either Eastleigh or Forest Green, both of whom are at home. Macclesfield could sneak into the play-offs if both teams drop points.

The other two issues are of course whether Barnet or Bristol Rovers win the league and whether Welling or Alfreton get relegated.
