Osborne Street, Grimsby town centre.

The other half of the Willy's pub empire, Swigs (Second Willy's, In Grimsby) offers similarly splendid ales to Willy's, but there is also the enticement of the free jukebox on Sunday nights, with its welcome repertoire of vintage indie compilations.

Possibly the smallest pub in the area, it does get decidedly shoulder-to-shoulder of a weekend eve, and is probably best enjoyed on a week night or Saturday afternoon, when you can browse the newspaper rack and watch the busy world drift by.

Swigs was once favoured by such titans of Mariners history as Paul Reece and Chris Hargreaves, the latter seen drowning his sorrows there after getting sent off and breaking his leg during an unsuccessful loan spell at Scarborough.
