THE MARINERS came away from Nottingham with a point today with the score at 0-0. A game which Town had plenty of chances to win. But that was true of both sides with some very good chances missed.
According to the commentary both Pringle and Todd were very good although Pringle tired in the second half due to his lack of first team action. In the last 7 minutes he had 3 chances which were blocked. Despite his tiredness he still outran some of the defenders.
Michael Boulding went close but he really does have to start passing the ball around instead of shooting for goal every time. He played extremely well according to the commentary but was criticised for failing to see players in a better position.
Kenny Swain said on Humberside that Todd was what Town needed and just after the start commented "I have only seen him for 16 minutes but he will do for me"
Alan Pouton was also praised for working extremely hard
On the game itself, Swain said "I have not seen Town play this type of passing game for a long time, they are playing very well"
Sky TV reported that Town were taking the game to Forest
