Date: 01/05/2003

THE Grimsby Town Supporters Trust are pleased to present AN EVENING WITH TOMMY DOCHERTY, to be held at the Etherington Arms, Holton-Le-Clay on SAT 7th JUNE.

Tommy enjoyed a sparkling football career as a player, enjoying 25 caps for Scotland (including 2 world cup appearances), Cup and League Cup wins and playing a part in the '63 Man Utd and '74 Chelsea teams that gained promotion to the then First Division. He also starred for Preston North End, Celtic and Arsenal.

His managerial experience includes spells at Manchester United, Chelsea, QPR, Derby County, Oporto, Wolves, Aston Villa and Scotland.Less well documented are spells in Australia and with Altricham.Few others can claim such a track record, which is why Tommy's views are constantly sought by the media.

Tommy is described as a ' fast-talking, wisecracking Glaswegian' and also 'King of the One Liners'.An evening with "The Doc" promises to be an evening to remember!
