From Newcastle To Blundell Park

By: Bill Osborne

WALES striker Craig Bellamy has ended an unhappy spell at Newcastle United by joining Premier League rivals Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee which may mean he will be appearing at Blundell Park in one of his first games.

"I am happy to be here. I want to get on and play football," Bellamy told Blackburn's website after signing a four-year contract on Thursday.

"It's been a tough period for me but I'm joining a club where the people know me and I'm looking forward to working with them."

It looks as if Bellamy will be appearing at Blundell Park in the match against Mark Hughes' team at Blundell Park on Tuesday August 2 at 7.30pm

Have you got your tickets for that game yet?
