Ronnie Bull 2004/0523 (6)2 goals

Ronnie Bull

After impressing in a pre-season friendly, Ronnie Bull was offered a one-year contract by manager Russell Slade. His move to Blundell Park came after he was released at Millwall, and he arrived with a hard-tackling, no-nonsense reputation.

An injury in the first game of the season at Darlington caused Bull to miss much of the opening campaign. Unable to gain any consistency - mostly due to the switching of formation by Slade - Bull's confidence was knocked and he had, by his own admission, a real stinker at Bury.

There were rumours even before the end of the season that Bull would not be offered a new deal. After training with Wycombe and Southend, he opted for a new challenge down under and joined New Zealand Knights.
