Terry Barwick arrived from Scunthorpe in June 2005 after making the short trip down the M180 with his caravan in tow.

Little known when he arrived, most people anticipated that Slade had signed the 'mulleted' one as resident bench warmer. And so it was that Barwick began surely one of the most unspectacular careers in Town's history.

11 appearances and only 2 league starts told all there was to tell. What he lacked in pace, he also lacked in the ability to pass, shoot and tackle.

A loan period at York City ensued before Slade promptly showed him the door in the summer of 2006.

The Barwick caravan was last seen trundling down the motorway towards the sunnier climes of Northwich Victoria...
