Great result. Can't say that I understand why Hurst prefers to start Colbeck over Nielson, but hey ho.....

He does seem to have his favourites ie dizza although hasnt started very well.  I was surprised to see paddy on the bench every time I've seen him he's been the standout midfielder.   Colbeck has got back into the team far too quickly for me.

anyway good result and keeps the momentum going.

Agree with the above, I just don't get the obsession with Colbeck .  Doesn't have a football brain

Yep, Colbeck seems to have been reinstated swiftly and I don't really get that, because for me, he's very average indeed. How did he play today?

Seems we opted for a conventional 4-4-2 today at the expense of Paddy, but credit to Hurst; it paid off. I would always prefer Rodman and Nielson as my wide players but perhaps Hurst wanted to use Nielson in precisely the way it transpired - as a high impact sub against a tiring team chasing the game.

Another interesting selection choice was that of Hearn on the bench.

Good result, staying away obviously did the trick but very happy with result and even happier if Hurst can prove me wrong

Ditto.

Also gave it a miss, but glad we won. Didn't miss it at all to be honest and it's a bit worrying to see over a 1000 drop on the last home gate.

Coulbeck playing over Neilson sums up PH for me. Too defensive. especially at home to a side who are in freefall.

Disley, Kerr and Coulbeck in midfield hardly get the pulses racing.

Still, a win is a win.

To be fair Ginny I think the top of the table / 1st v 2nd clash brought a fair few extra along the other Tuesday

Not sure how many fans Cambridge had in that crowd too so whilst the crowd was lower I think it was to be expected (especially after the two defeats)

What we need to do to maintain a crowd closer to 4000 every time is to keep on winning...easier said than done I know but the more there is a chance of seeing success, the more that people might be tempted to come back

On the same theme - I expect it will be a really poor gate on Saturday v Rushall

No concessions on the price as far as I know and I was disappointed to see that the reduced ticket prices that you can "take advantage of" if you've got a season ticket, don't apply to the FA Cup or the FA Trophy. When you're supposed to use them I really don't know!
