Immediate reaction when i watched the draw, sh1t thats a tough ask, now i have had more time to think of it i think , sh1t thats a tough ask lol. We need to play sensily to the conditions but a slower paced game will just play straight into the hands of the uruguayans and the italians, 99% humidy will probably mean the players losing approx 4-5 lbs in weight during the game, they will be so knackered. BUt good luck anyway , just wish we had switzrlands group thats all.
Yes you 're right .the main priority will be for England to keep possession and not give the ball away................oh dear :

I reckon Italy will definitely finish top of the group, Prandelli has done a good job with them despite all the goings-on behind the scenes in Italian football, and Giuseppe Rossi is back so they now have a (more consistent) alternative to Balotelli.
Not sure about the others, but I can see Uruguay scraping through because of Suarez and Cavani who look unstoppable going forward but shaky at the back, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Costa Rica finish above England on goal difference or something, because there simply isn't enough flair in the team (although some direct football might bag a win against Costa Rica, meaning England would finish above them on the head to head record, who knows!).

I think this is a horror draw for England. We never seem to do well against Italy and if Suarez is still (I know, it is a long way off and lots can change) in the form he is now, struggle to see us getting much out of them either. Know nothing about Costa Rica accept that Central American sides seldom do well.
Isn't it Italy first in the Amazon? Maybe the heat and humidity will be a leveller there. Get something from that you never know.
My adopted nation (though not in a sporting sense) have a tough draw too (calling it the Group Of Death down here) and I don't think they have any chance at all of progressing. Seems a real imbalance in the groups with B,C, D & G looking so much tougher than the rest.

| There's a crooked street in Grimsby Town It's a well worn path I've travelled down Now there's ruin in my name, I wish i'd never got off the train And I wish I'd listened to the words you said.... ...Don't go down to Freeman Street Don't go down to Freeman Street You'll be lost and never found You can never turn around Don't go down to Freeman Street

A real Meatloaf Moment from Joe the Mariner there
Group C- Uruguay - Nigeria - Costa Rica - England
Tough draw but if we beat Costa coffee and draw against Italy and Uruguay that should be enough. However being England we will probably lose to Italy and Uruguay and struggle to a draw against Costa rica
Spent a very good easter saturday in Costa rica a few years ago

That's really good by my standards. I don't think I've ever predicted a town score correctly.
