Strange that Tomlinson is getting hammered on here yet loads of praise from Buckley on the radio??

I know who has more credibility in my eyes

Nobody wants Town to lose. Lots of people on here doubt that Hurst is the best man for the job but we're all town.

Really peg? I be just read through the thread and some of the comments are unbelievable, I struggle to think how some can actually call themselves supporters.its almost as though they're willing hurst to fail so they can just heap more abuse on his head

To be fair Buckley has pointed out the 'good and bad' of Tommo, and labelled him a poor man's version of another runaround striker who isn't prolific...

Buckley said 'he's no John Lewis' hardly call that praise

Which in all honesty is exactly what I thought of him when he was at Lincoln. A bit of a nuisance but no subtlety to his game and not much in the way of quality. A decent option to have in the squad for certain games but he should not be starting ahead of either of the scorned two.

I appreciate we all want and expect the strikers to be scoring but at the same time it sounds like he puts in a proper shift and working hard for the team

Sounds a bit like when Lee Nogan played for Buckley - not prolific either but kept getting a game and probably deservedly so

At that time did we have two strikers on the bench both with a goal ratio of better than one goal every two games?

3835 here, crowds dropping fast.

Games that bad that I've had time to count spectators, 1094 in Pontoon.
