We were dog excrement today especially in the second half..

Says it all for me when my pick of MOM was JPP he was only on for 10 minutes ffs

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

The sad thing is that second place was there for the taking over the last few weeks.

We will finish with fewer points than last season, and probably a lower finishing position. Not really progress is it?

Still, we are in the play offs. Three good performances is all that is required and let's face it, the other play off contenders are hardly world beaters either.

It's now in our hands.

I hope that was the cause for it. I was surprised at how the noises coming from the club after the Woking win was a very calm 'job done' type reaction as if we had already qualified. I suppose they've been proved right (or got away with it anyway).

I genuinely cannot remember when Town pulled off 3 good performances one after the other.

I am so glad I have missed the last few Grimsby Town matches! Sounds absolutely shocking what is going on at the moment. Half our season's matches lost in the last 9 matches!

Limping into them then? That was a horrible 2nd half, as wayward and weak as anything we've had this season. 1 game left this season and we still haven't figured out how to beat these teams, specially in pressure games. Other than dropping Podge for a game then bringing him back but that's not really feasible long term.
Bit worried, still not doing the business regularly.

Actually if that was guaranteed to work, ie drop one game then scores a hattrick the next it really should guarantee us promotion if dropped for the Tranny game
