First time I’ve listened to AP and JS in depth . Very impressed tbf . It’s a good listen and if we can get it right on the pitch we’ll be flying . Artell is a very intelligent bloke who talks so much sense he doesn’t sound like a football manager ( I mean that in a positive way ) . I still think he needs one of his own coaches who understands him and the way he wants to play

For those that wanted a bit more on the team and the retained list etc the interview DA did on Humberside yesterday was quite interesting, only 15 mins long but worth a listen.

what did you find interesting? I listened and was a bit disappointed; not in Artell, but thought the interviewer might tease 1 or bits more out of him. Nothing on the possible foreign players, nothing on what style he might be playing (i'm still shiite scared that he will revert back to playing Artellball, with similar consequences)

He mentioned the playing style in the DN interview , we will be reverting back somewhat but he say's 'it won't be as an extreme version of what he tried first off' or something along those lines .

I thought it was interesting that he's essentially not having any time off, said he's in meetings pretty much all this week and next week.

Thought it was "interesting" that he might have devoted a bit of family time given what he's gone through over the last few weeks. But instead he is cracking on and showing real commitment to the club and us fans to make us better. Really hope now he can do it as much for him as us.

I actually have enjoyed as much as I've listened to so far.
Signing section trial is a good idea as it's not committing to something that may fail but if it works who knows. Although I did like the idea of having essentially 2 seats depending on which section our fans are in, it could be doable.

Nice to hear about the work going on in the Main.

Playing side enjoyed listening to DA.

Ceo, seems a very very good appointment with bags of experience

I found it very interesting and informative. JS, AP and DA were very open and didn't shirk away from the misjudgements and things they got wrong.

Yep, really good episode and I enjoyed listening to JS and AP talk in a way that they don't always talk when interviewed by RH.

I get the Amazon/corner shop analogy regards recruitment, but it goes against what they've been promoting in terms of investing in the local community — you'd shop at your local grocer's, wouldn't you; invest in the local area, and not put money into other people's economies — but I suppose the best players aren't going to be local so you have to cast the net wider.

Would be nice if one day we had the best local talent, so we didn't have to shop internationally. Even with the best will in the world, that's years away. Perhaps one day we'll be the local shop others want to buy from.
