Pleased we're moving away from Macron, sizing was idiotic.


Be very interested to see if the contract with Myenergi is up, I know it was a 3 year deal but with their financials atm, cant see them wanting to continue it.

Have we ever had an Umbro kit? Can’t recall one. They’re still owned by Nike though aren’t they?

Unlikely it will be an off the peg template like that. Umbro had some really nice kits throughout the Prem, and EFL (plus Boston) last season, and are probably second only to Hummel in their retro design chops.

It has to be an improvement on Macron. I only bought last year’s of the three we’ve had with them, and the fabric was like cheap Aldi bog roll (no offence intended to the fishy’s very own “Aldi”, who appears to be MIA).

Anyone else noticed the red piping next to the black stripes on all the official club media for the last couple of weeks? It’s on the season tickets as well so I’m expecting that to be the new stripes.

I’d expect that the new shirt sponsor/s* could be named with the release of the new shirt. I say sponsors, as quite a few  clubs have gone down the route of shirt sleeve sponsors. Admittedly it’s not as lucrative as in the top leagues but with the new ‘sky deal’ there’s scope for more airtime than previously

*if the sponsors are indeed new ones

They also mentioned share capital so some of the new investors will be taking part ownership. Should be very interesting to see who that is. Association with the club was mentioned so probably somebody local.

This season’s Carlisle away shirt was a thing of beauty. As were the general Umbro goalkeeper offering.
