Carlisle v Grimsby Team News

MICHAEL Jolley has several injuries to contend with for the trip to Cumbria, as he tries to recover from the run of six consecutive defeats. Town took the lead against Morecambe but once again succumbed to second-half goals which saw them lose the game.

Jolley's hopes of keeping a settled side were dashed when defender Harry Davis (knee) limped off in Saturday's defeat to Morecambe. Midfielder Ben Pringle is still not fit enough to last 90 minutes and defender Akin Famewo is not allowed to play due to his recent concussion. Striker Jordan Cook is expected to recover from a knock but Harry Caldwell is still working on his fitness after just returning to full training.

Carlisle strikers Jack Sowerby (knee) and Richie Bennett (groin) were both forced off with knocks in the defeat to Stevenage and face fitness tests.

Carlisle have lost their last two away games but they did the double over Town last season and will be confident of taking maximum points again.
