Tony's Verdict: "Wayne is wonderful" (official), as he scored the "golden goal" which won the Auto Windscreen Shield in 1998. Used to have lovely hair, but had it cut last season. Appears injury prone and hardly played any games in the first division. The crowd long for the return of the "Burnett shimmy" and superb long range passing. An old fashioned ball player. Being fit would help.
