Pre-Season Friendly Dates
News From 6th June 2000
With last season not long finished, the pre-season friendlies for next season are just over a month away.
The highlight without question is the return of former Grimsby player and fans' idol Ivano Bonetti (now manager of Dundee),
to the club where in a brief spell he made such an impression. This match is on Friday 21st July, followed by Grimsby's "Tour" of Ireland (actually 2 games in Derry).
Apart from Dundee and Ireland, the other highlights are local derbies against Lincoln and Brian Laws' Scunthorpe.
