Listening to after match comments on 5 live after the France v Portugal game last night.Most comments where wether it was a penalty or not,based on hand to ball or ball to hand.Anyway,this guy from the midlands was gutted that france won,why's that,said Alan Kennedy on 5 live,cos i wanted to watch Portugal/Holland in the final says the the caller,,just have to watch france/Holland then wont you,says Kennedy,it wont be like watching WBA and GRIMSBY you know.Saw that once said the caller,went home after 10 mins on the number 9 bus.(call was about 10-30pm)

Heard on Saturday mornings Radio 5 show hosted by Adrian Childs (fanatical WBA fan) interviewing the British Ambassador in Brussels about the forthcoming Euro 2000

Notts Cricket

Guy Welton, who was a y.t. for GTFC a couple of years ago, and went to Healing Comprehensive when I did, has been mentioned LOADS recently.

He's now 22, used to be the Mariners fourth, maybe third choice 'keeper, and is now opening the batting for Notts. He got 200 not out this weekend, and thus got the Mariners mentioned a few times in the broadsheets!!!
