The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Last Chance Zhang

Tomorrow at Carrow Road, Chinese international captain Zhang Enuhua plays his last game of the season for Grimsby Town. Signed on loan from his club Dalien, Zhang has been the Mariners most expensive player but repaid that with three goals that gained Town five crucial points.

Town Boss Lennie Lawrence is hoping that Zhang will score a goal on his finale with Town failing to win a game against Norwich away in 81 years. This is an important game for Grimsby and Alan Pouton will start the game in place of Wayne Burnett who has a knee injury.

Speaking of Zhang, Lennie Lawrence said "I'd like to get him back next year and we have to be in this division otherwise it's impractical."

"It's been a good experience for him and he wants to get a big move. He isn't ready now, but if he had another spell here he might be.

(Zhang who flys home on Sunday will be carrying the good wishes of the readers of The Fishy with the farewell message board postings collated and printed out for him.)
