The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Birmingham 1 Grimsby 0

With Grimsby Town losing 1-0 at Birmingham today, Grimsby's struggle to avoid relegation will depend on other teams performances. Grimsby play league leaders Fulham who will be looking to set a new record and based on form it is wishful thinking to believe we can gain a point from that game.

Our hopes therefore rest upon the remaining two games of Crystal Palace who must win both to beat Grimsby on goal difference. After a hectic season it has now finally come down to the wire.

Portsmouth on Tuesday night will have the support of thousands of Grimsby fans who will be cheering them on to win against Palace. This match is vital to Grimsby's hopes as Palace's last game is against Stockport and looks an easier game for them on paper.

A disappointing day for all Grimsby fans as the lads played well today according to the commentary on Radio Humberside and Birmingham Radio stations.

A full report will follow later
