Hello boys and girls! Hope you are all having a nice summer holiday in this splendid weather. Over here at Toddlers Club we've been having lots of fun!
This month we had seven new members who have all joined in and played nicely.
Last week everyone played in the sandpit, which captured the imagination of all our youngsters, especially young Christopher Thompson who excelled himself with the trowel! However we did have a minor accident with little Morgan Cranley, when he got a bit too excited with the bucket and spade! After that we all watched Punch and Judy performed by two local clowns, whose name escapes me.
This was not quite so popular amongst the children, but it did keep them quiet, as most of them were asleep.Although this maybe had something to do with A. Gallimore providing the children's drinks. Tony, what did you say they were again????
So now we approach the start of August which always means Sports Day! I'm sure Iain Ward will be eager to regain his title of Bean Bag, Hoopla, Egg and Spoon, the Sack race and the Obstacle Race Champion, which he won of course last year, when all the other contestants were disqualified for cheating! No gluing the eggs onto spoons this year children! I'm sure we'll see another grand turnout, so see you all on August 2nd!
Bye for now!
Paul
