Johnny Oster will always be remembered for his bags of talent on the ball and unlimited skill. Whether on the wing or down the centre, his ability was undisputed. Making his debut at just 18, he played just 20 odd games for Town before being sold to Everton for £1.5 million.
Oster's sale was one of the reasons why Town did so well the next season, with his transfer fee paying a big chunk of Town's new signings. He now plays at Sunderland, still struggling to hold down a first team place.
