French Defender Trial

TOULOUSE defender Hamada Jambay is coming to Blundell Park for a trial match, expected to be against Blackpool reserves on Wednesday. The 26-year-old centre back, who has played 59 times in France's top flight for Toulouse and former club Marseille, is looking to move to English football.
Lennie Lawrence is looking to improve his defence which is currently seriously lacking in numbers, and has promised to bring in new players soon, probably on loan deals from abroad.
Hamada Jambay, who has ten year's experience in the top echelon of French football, looks on paper a good prospect and has played on two occasions this season for Toulouse.
