Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Danny Coyne Waiting For Decision On Friday's Game

GRIMSBY Town's goalkeeper Danny Coyne is still waiting to hear from Mark Hughes whether he will be able to play on Friday against Rotherham. The situation is no clearer now that Mark Crossley has withdrawn with an injury.

The question now is if Coyne will be chosen to sit on the bench as the Wales number two or if he will be released for the Grimsby game.

If Hughes selects Nottingham Forest's Darren Ward for the second place Coyne will be able to play for the Mariners.

"We have to prepare as if Stevie Croudson's in goal. Danny will find out when he finds out, otherwise we just have to get on with it," said Lennie Lawrence.

Croudson's could be playing for the first time since the 3-1 defeat at Huddersfield in December 1999.
