Town Lose To Arsenal - Back To The League Now!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 28/11/2001

GRIMSBY TOWN held Arsenal to a 2 goal margin tonight in their Worthington Cup clash. A much better organised team claimed the day but Grimsby did have opportunities.

On 3 minutes a glaring error by Neilson let in Edu to score an easy goal.

Neilson had a very bad game and it was not until Boulding came on that Town really started attacking.

Around the 70 minute mark, Wiltord was given an easy header to score the second.

A full report will follow soon.
