The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Millwall 3 Grimsby Town 1

MILLWALL booked their place in the play-offs with an impressive 3-1 victory against a lacklustre Grimsby side despite needing just one point to get to the playoffs.

4 goals in the first half and none in the second just about describes the game that seemed to be a hang on to what we have for both teams with Town never looking to recover from the 2 goal deficit from the first half.

Dublin struck first in the first half from a cross from Lawrence but Town found an equalizer about 5 minutes later when Danny Butterfield took a pass from Coldicott and slotted it past the 'keeper.

Harris scored another for Millwall on 30 minutes and a few minutes later scored again after being set up by Dublin. Harris tried hard to gain a hat trick but some good defending and good luck kept him from scoring again.

Grimsby tried to get it together in the second half but had few chances and Millwall were happy to just keep the scoreline as it was.
