Dr Fishy's September Depth Chart

By: Dr Fishy
Date: 08/09/2002

RIGHT, time for Dr.Fishy to update his depth chart. We now have a better idea of which players Mr.Groves prefers. One large hint was him getting Phil Jevons off the wage bill for the remainder of the season.

Will Jevo help Hull to do a Donovan/Barnsley type escape out of the Third Division? Hull for the Conference?!?!

This depth chart is different to the last one in a number of ways:

  1. Injured players have been removed.
  2. More youngsters have been added - thanks to the raffle (insert link) Town might be able to keep more youth products.
  3. Loanees and trialists have been incorporated. For example, Jamie Pollock is included even though we have yet to sign him, partly through wishful thinking, but partly since if he gets fit, his top-flight experience would put him in serious first team contention.
  4. Recent team selections - Groves in midfield for instance have been considered.

Not Eligible For Dr Fishy's Chart

Those youngsters who have not recently come close to first team action - the likes of Soames, Carchedi, Cass and Fraser getting reserve team experience. Maybe they can aim for Dr.Fishy's depth chart in 2003?

Dr Fishy's Treatment Table

  • Stevie Croudson (GK) - due back in October?
  • Steve Livingstone and Robert Taylor (both CF)- back end of this month?

    Dr Fishy's August Depth Chart

Feel free to discuss this on the message boards, and maybe do your own depth charts to compare with Dr.Fishy's?
