GRIMSBY have taken 21-year-old Kentucky Wildcats Australian-born midfielder Nathan Fleetwood (left) on trial. The six foot Adelaide-born attacking midfielder has U-17 and U-20 experience for Australia.

Wildcats spokesman Chris Weinman, speaking on his former player said: "In two short years with the Wildcats, Nathan scored six goals and added a team-high 13 assists. He was named first-team All-Great Lakes Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in 2002, and earned All-MAC (Mid-American Conference) honors twice."

"Anchoring Kentucky's midfield, Fleetwood led his squad to a first round victory in the 2001 NCAA Tournament. During the 2002 season, the Adelaide, Australia, native earned a total of four All-Tournament and MAC Player of the Week honors."

  • STUART Campbell has been credited with Town's second goal in the game against Wimbledon earlier this month, despite the Scot's strike taking a deflection from a Dons' defender.
