A Good Draw For Us! - Groves

THE Carling Cup (the league cup) was drawn this morning and the Mariners face Doncaster Rovers away during week commencing August 11th.
Paul Groves told the Grimsby Telegraph, "I think it's a good draw for us. It's a local game, which is good for the fans, so we're very pleased."
"They've done very well. Dave Penney has done an excellent job and it will be a difficult game for us but one we are looking forward to with it being a side which is geographically close to us."
"It is a tough tie but one we are looking forward to."
"We are a team in a higher division but that doesn't necessarily mean anything in a one-off game. Hopefully, though, it will be exciting and we'll come out on top."
