The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Last Keeper Released!

WITH both of their goalkeepers out injured, Town have strangely decided to release their third choice 'keeper Bradley Hughes, and bring a new shot stopper in on loan tomorrow - possibly Hull City's third choice Alan Fettis.

"If Alan Fettis does go out on loan, it would mean a saving on wages," City manager Peter Taylor told the Hull Daily Mail, who revealed that Doncaster, Grimsby, Colchester and Macclesfield had all expressed an interest in the former Blackburn 'keeper.

Youth player Oliver Richardson will play in goal tomorrow for the reserves at Wrexham.

Meanwhile Nicky Law's attempt to bring in an outfield player to the club have been delayed due to a complication.

Grimsby currently have just two loan slots left until the end of the season, and with the injury list seemingly growing by the day, are likely to see their squad tested to the full in the coming weeks.
