Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Law Not Too Unhappy!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 18/03/2004

TOWN boss Nicky Law says he was not too unhappy with the Mariners loss against Swindon, praising the team's very good performance.

On Mariners Net he said "I think we've got to be positive after that. I think that if you look at the game, the difference between the two sides was probably centre forward Mooney. If you take him out of there and put him in our side, he could have probably had an hat-trick easily tonight."

"I've just said to the players that if they play like that every week they'll win more games than they lose. It's just encouraging."

In the commentary on Radio Humberside with David Burns and Bradley Allen, Burnsie said "I know I have been hard on them sometimes but tonight's performance has been the best I have seen all season."

Bradley Allen commented "If this is one of the best sides in this division you can see that there is very little difference between them all. In the second and third divisions, it is a bit more physical and it is those teams with the 'big' men who are doing well."

Bradley was very good, knew his football and had a lot to say. He came over as a very intelligent young man. He will be back again for the QPR game.

Pity he was not on the field in a black and white shirt!
