The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

5-1 Who Can Stop Us Now?

It had to happen! With the Town squad getting their due deserts after fighting back in the last two games and they did it with a vengeance today.

But from what I heard on Radio Humberside via Mariners World, it was not just a high scoring game, it was a game of effort and commitment. Parkinson, Sestanovitch, Pinault Mansaram and Reddy may have been the scorers but it seems the whole team was working together and never giving up even when the game was unloseable.

What a difference!

David Smith and John Tondeur in the commentary box talked about how "Russell Slade had a tight budget and not much time but still brought some cracking players to Blundell Park."

Today has brought confidence into the dressing room. Let us hope it also brings back the fans! 4,700 today was a disgrace!

We deserve better than that!

Rob Sedgewick will be doing a mini report on the game soon. Keep tuning in!
