Cramb To Sign!

By: Bill Osborne

COLIN Cramb is to sign for the Mariners on a monthly contract. Presently on a non-contractual basis, Russell Slade looks like he making sure no other club snatches him.

"He's a little short of match fitness but he seems to have fitted in with us. He has a proven goal scoring record, and we hope that he can bring those qualities to the team.

"I think that he will give us goals. He will hold the ball up for us and bring others into play."

Town beat Cheltenham, Rushden and Dundee to the signature of the former Crewe frontman.
