Keeper To Sign Soon

RUSSELL Slade said he is expecting his number one goalkeeper target to conclude a deal with Town soon. "He is on holiday at the moment but that should all be going through on the fax," he said.
"He has experience and, with John Lukic, that would be a relief for us to get that position sorted out."
Mariners Net suggest that the new man played for a league 1 club last season.
Slade also declared today that he did not have an interest in Southend keeper Darryl Flahavan. "It is a load of rubbish and I haven't had any interest," he said.
Ronnie Bull, is expected to sign for Southend, according to reports, after being released by Town.
