Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

Who's Your Hero?
Who's Your Hero?

November Player of the Month

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 18/12/2005

AFTER last month’s antics Town have moved back to the League game where the bread and butter of its game and funds rely on, so here’s the six nominations for this month’s player of the month are

Home > 2005-2006 Season > Player of the Month > November

Here are the six nominations for November's player of the month award:

Steve Mildenhall - Goalkeeper

Steve has been the backbone of Town's defence (one of the best in the all four leagues) and is a much better goalie than the one we had last season. Arguably Slade's best signing of the summer.

Gary Jones - Striker

Gary Jones may not be universally popular with the fans but his presence is a handful for opposition defences and he knows where the goal is.

Paul Bolland - Midfielder

Bolly’s form has been top notch so far this season and is an unsung hero in the midfield department.

Michael Reddy - Striker

Talented forward who finally has started to put in consistent performances for Town. Although he hasn't been a prolific scorer, "Redds" has created a lot of goals for the Mariners. Usually our most dangerous player with the ball at his feet.

Ciaran Toner - Midfielder

One of the players at Blundell Park who has been unlucky to have been left out due to the success of the team when he's not been in the side. Came in against Macclesfield during November and has not missed a game since, even keeping JPK out the side.

Tom Newey Defender

Played in three of the four November games and scored his first ever goal for Town against Macclesfield.
