What about Reddy?

WHY has Michael Reddy not yet been offered a promised new deal after interest from Bristol City? Could the unthinkable happen and Town cash in and lose another star in the summer?

The dreaded January transfer window deadline day had arrived and with that a fax from a certain club in Bristol came asking about the future of our Star Striker, Michael Reddy, but that resulted to the relief of every Town fan in a definite No No from John Fenty. But why has Michael Reddy not been offered a new deal since then?

Reddy, whose contract runs out at the end of the season is reported to have an option in his contract that can be taken up if the club wish to. What I want to know is why we have not been given any updates on a player who is regarded by many Town fans as a hero and why there's been no offer yet? This also comes after the club made solid offers to other key players Rob Jones and Steve Mildenhall as well as manager Russell Slade, who is yet to comment on the Irishman's future. This surely doesn't mean another superstar will leave Town!
