New Ground Campaign

GRIMSBY Town FC has a long history and so does our ground, Blundell Park. Unfortunately the ground is out dated and the facilities are lacking for this new era of football.

A new stadium has been on the agenda for many years but unfortunately the plans for developing a new Home off the A180 has seen several problems on the way.

A new ground is essential in securing the future of GTFC. With it comes new facilities, training pitches, business, function rooms and a retail park just to name a few.

The club and council are meeting soon to discuss the current situation.

We have started a campaign to encourage and gain publicity for the proposed move. The aim is to work side by side with GTFC to keep fans informed of positives as well as any problems. We want to keep people updated regularly by using the Electronicfishcake.

www.grimsby.net has been created for to enable comments in favour of a new stadium to be posted.

Regular updates will be made so the fans are kept updated with the situation.

The club have been contacted and hopefully if we can work together the live game featured on sky against Hereford United would be an ideal time to show the public we want this to happen.

So please come and visit www.grimsby.net and show the club you support the future!
