Alan Buckley Not Worried

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 22/07/2007

TOWN boss, Alan Buckley, after the defeat to Farsley Celtic appeared to not be too troubled by two defeats in a row and said that he was experimenting a little.

He told Mariners Net: "I was very pleased with our first half performance. We played well in the first half, passed the ball well. Their manager came to me at half time and thanked me for bringing the team down. He said that we had given them a footballing lesson."

"We looked a bit disjointed in the second half but we were experimenting a bit," he added.

Non the less that will not suit the Grimsby doomsters who will soon be calling for his head for poor performances in meaningless pre-season friendlies.

If Buckley is not worried, why should we be?

Tuesday night when we play Hull City will be the real test, playing a league side.
