Scunthorpe Defender On Loan To Town

Town boss Alan Buckley has signed Scunthorpe United defender Dave Muligan on an initial one months loan deal. He plays for the New Zealand national soccer team, the All Whites, and collected his 10th cap against Brazil in June 2006.

He will be joining the Town squad at Shrewsbury on Saturday.

Scunthorpe United Official Site said; During his time at previous club Doncaster Rovers, Liverpool-born Mulligan earned a reputation as a man who can play in many positions, and who was particularly deadly with a set-piece, as emphasised by his selection as the FA Cup 'Player of the Round' for his breathtaking display for Doncaster at Boston United last season, in which he scored two superb goals from free kicks.
