BAWC Fanzine: The End...

FOR just over a year now The Black and White Corner fanzine has produced nine issues dating back to October 8th and produced some truly fantastic fanzines. However – for several reasons including time issues and lack of contributions – the Mariners only paper based fanzine has decided to cease production with immediate effect.
Over the year or so since BAWC was launched we have produced nine issues and interviewed some fantastic ex-players – some of whom who truly epitomise the word ‘legend’ – and played host to over thirty different writers and – on behalf of young editor Jake Olley – we would like to thank everyone who has helped with the production of our publications.
We would also like to thank you the readers – all 300 of you – who have bought our fanzines month in month out since we launched – without you their wouldn’t have been a fanzine so - on behalf of the team - thank you very much.
Finally, despite ceasing the production of our paper publications BAWC still has plans to keep publishing our thoughts on this very website and hopes to re-launch BAWC Radio in the not so distant future. In the meantime, If you would like to join the web team feel free to email us on info@bawconline.co.uk.
This site is by the fans, for the fans, and we will consider articles on any subject relating to the Mariners whether it be related to current news, a nostalgic look back in the past, a story about a player, a game or games in the past, something about Blundell Park or football in general.
