TOWN stand to make £400K from the Johnstone Paint Trophy cup run, which as much as 75% of the additional income coming from the Wembley game alone. In the perilous financial position Grimsby are in that can only be good news for Town's Chairman John Fenty.

The Town chairman told the Grimsby Telegraph: "Our anticipated income for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, from the start to the finish, is around £400,000.

"We think that the Wembley element would bring the club in the order of £300,000-£350,000.

"Hopefully we can get the fans behind us and cheer us onto victory."

Ticket details have now emerged for the Wembley final.

  • On Wednesday (9am-7pm) tickets will go on sale at the club shop to season ticket holders, with the maximum number of tickets per person "at the discretion of the GTFC ticket office manager".
  • The ticket office will be closed on Saturday 15th
  • On Sunday 16th fans with a ticket stub from the home games against Barnet or MK Dons will be able to buy tickets.
  • From Monday, March 17, any remaining tickets will go on general unrestricted sale, with the ticket office open between 9am-7pm until Thursday, March 20.
