Away at Blackburn!

GRIMSBY have been drawn against Premiership giants Blackburn Rovers in the Second Round of the Carling Cup. Town have never won at Ewood Park despite playing their 30 times, but will fancy their chances of causing an upset in a competition in which they have claimed a few scalps in recent years.
Blackburn finished last season in tenth position, but this year have a new manager in Paul Ince. Alan Buckley and Ince of course locked horns three times last season when the former England midfielder was manager of MK Dons. With Grimsby losing all three games, including the JPT Final at Wembley, Alan Buckley will be keen to gain revenge on his Blackburn counterpart.
