Beat the Bookies: Week 32

ROTHERHAM won at Rochdale last week to give Beat the Bookies another winner at a decent price. Luton losing was a tenner lost, but well worth the money as it benefited Grimsby!

Town's relegation rivals are all sadly beginning to put together decent runs. Barnet had a good spell, Bournemouth are still having one. Luton had a great result on Tuesday night which will have given them a lot of confidence. Only Grimsby and Chester are yet to put a run together.....
Luton v Macclesfield. Luton had such a huge boost the other night and listening to their supporters after the game there's no doubt in their minds they can do it. The players probably feel the same way. They probably won't do it but that won't stop them beating Macclesfield at home. Luton can be backed at 4/5 Selection: Luton
Bournemouth v Notts County. Bournemouth can now relax and celebrate their great escape. County will just make up the numbers on Saturday against a rampant Cherries side. Bournemouth can be backed at 8/11 . Selection: Bournemouth
Bradford v Port Vale. Both sides are remarkably inconsistent. Bradford seem to struggle so often at Valley Parade against lesser sides. Vale have nothing to play for. Expect the unexpected. Vale can be backed at 9/2 with Boyles Sport. . Selection: Port Vale
Shrewsbury v Morecambe. Morecambe are on a terrific run and we have won lots of money this season backing them. The Shrews are out of sorts and look like falling at the final hurdle. Once more Morecambe are a good bet at 16/5. Selection: Morecambe
Bury v Chester. Chester has had a confidence boost this week with getting a new owner (if that's what has happened). In any case they probably have a little home and it's worth backing them for a huge upset at nearby 13/2. Selection: Chester
This season we will be trying out three different betting strategies:
- Fixed Odds - as per last year
- Spread Betting on the Mini Performance Index with IG Index (25 points for a win, 10 for a draw, 10 for a goal)
- The Monkey (betting on Town to win each game 3-1, i.e. the complete absence of any betting strategy).
