Jarmo Out Again!

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 12/10/2009

NATHAN Jarman has heaped more misery on Town boss Mike Newell after he today broke his foot again in training. The Scunthorpe-born front man had played just two games this season since returning from a broken bone in his foot sustained during pre-season.

Mike Newell had looked to have got most of his first choice players back again a couple of weeks ago but has since been hit by two suspensions (Conlon, 4 games, Boshell, 2 games) and two major injuries (Proudlock, 1 month), Jarman (6 weeks).

Grimsby had been looking to send some players out on loan, but it looks like they may be needing them after all, in addition the new faces expected to arrive at Blundell Park this week.

  • Leeds v Grimby in the Johstone's Paint Trophy (Tue 10th Nov, 19;45) has been selected by Sky TV to be shown live from Elland Road. It will only cost £10 to get in to the ground, and £5 for concessions.
