Extra Tickets Snapped Up

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 04/05/2010 (Last updated: 06/05/2010)

GRIMSBY have been allocated 501 additional tickets for the Pirelli Stadium at Burton, but they have already been sold to fans with vouchers. The 501 voucher holders can pick them up from 9am on Wednesday until 5pm on Thursday.

Any tickets which have not been picked up will go on sale to season ticket holders and Barnet stub holders when the ticket office opens on Friday.

Town are unlikely to get any more tickets to Burton, although there are likely to be several thousand empty seats in the home stands. Some Town fans without tickets will doubtless try to get in the home ends, others are off to support Rochdale at Barnet.

The Mariners must win and hope that Barnet do not win to have a realistic chance of staying in the Football League.
