The Eagle Has Landed!

NEIL Woods has snapped up two more players in the final week before preparations begin in proper for the season's opener at Crawley. Midfielder Robert Eagle joins right back Dwayne Samuels at Blundell Park, the pair having both impressed during trial games in recent friendlies.

They have both put pen to paper on two year deals, taking the number of signings by Woods well into double figures.

23-year-old Eagle was a product of the Norwich City's youth system and played 29 times for the Canaries, before heading north of the border to join SPL club Inverness CT, where he made 19 appearances last season.

Samuels started his career with West Brom, spending four years in their youth team. He originally played in midfield before making the transition to right back. He has yet to make a first team appearance.
