Beat the Bookies: Week 7

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 10/09/2010 (Last updated: 20/11/2010)

BEAT the bookies made a quid last week with one winner (Oxford) and one loser (Kettering). Could this be the start of a glorious run of winning tips? Let's hope so.

Home > 2010-2011 Season > Beat the Bookies > Week 7

  • Histon v Crawley Town. Histon were unlucky to lose at Grimsby and had a good away win last week. Crawley have spent a lot of money but their recent results are hardly emphatic. 4/1 with Corals with a home win has to be worth a few quid! Selection: Histon

  • Rotherham v Burton Albion. Burton are a very inconsistent side who can beat anyone on their day. Rotherham's recent results have been very low scoring, so all in all 3/1 for an away win looks a reasonable price. Selection: Burton Albion

  • West Brom v Tottenham. Spurs had a bad result last week and many of their players have been playing internationals over the last few days. The Baggies could be worth a flutter at 3/1 with Paddy Power. Selection: West Brom

  • Wigan v Sunderland. Wigan had a good result last time out but they looked an awful side and expect normal service to be resumed against a Sunderland side who are more clinical these days. An away win is 2/1 with Sky Bet. Selection: Sunderland

  • Newcastle v Blackpool. Blackpool likewise are a weak side and 4/7 looks a good price if you have a spare pot of money doing nothing somewhere! Selection: Newcastle 1

    Recommended Fixed Odds Bets

    • 1. Histon to beat Crawley. . (4/1, Corals)
    • 2. Sunderland to beat Wigan . . (2/1, Sky Sports)
