Grimsby v AFC Wimbledon Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 04/03/2011

WITH Grimsby not making their new managerial appointment this week after Mark Cooper turned the Mariners down, it means Dave Moore is in charge for the AFC Wimbledon game at Blundell Park on Saturday.

The Physio/Assistant Manager/Caretaker manager is not planning any major changes to the side. promising to stick largely to the philosophy of former Grimsby boss Neil Woods, who was sacked after the last game, a draw at home to Forest Green.

The biggest decision Moore will have to make is whether to start with striker Charles Ademeno, or more realistically include him on the bench. Ademeno played for the reserves in midweek, but Town will be wanting to have their first choice striker finish the season strongly, and Dave Moore may well opt not to rush back a first choice player.

The only other problems facing Moore are midfielder Micky Cummins, who is midway four-match suspension while fellow midfielder, veteran Bryan Hughes, remains doubtful.

Woods in his last game choose to put Rob Atkinson and Peter Bore on the bench and both of them are possible starters for Town.

The Dons are hoping right back Sam Hatton is fit in time to face the Mariners.
